ABOUT US

We are the team The New Form of Phnom Penh, a group of students, working as a part of a collabortive project for New Khmer Architecture and Sasa Art Projects.       

 Our Group in this project has decided to research the Decentralization and mobility for local people in local market.

ATHOS HONG

Athos Hong is an Interior architect with strong design recognition and enthusiasm have mature innovation and resolution capabilities when facing challenging cases to achieve customer requirements. Extensive experience in building and environment. Active in international projects, has a keen intuition for innovative designs and trends.

LUKA JOVANOVIC

Luka Jovanovic resides and was born in Sydney, Australia. Currently he is a full-time student at UNSW, studying the Bachelor of Computational design degree. His skills range  from web-scraping,  visual scripting in Rhino, to coding, or even diagramming.

Luka enjoys the process of creating, designing and visualising, in many different forms, and saw this as the perfect opportunity. In this research project, he applied and sharpened his skills in research and visualisation.

MAO SOVANCHANDY

Mao Sovanchandy, born in Battambang, Cambodia in 1999 and was raised in a restrictive family and society. Being the eldest and sole daughter is a great challenge for her. She explores and fights in every way to do what she loves and look for her freedom. She has an enthusiasm for photography. She often likes to experiment with new kinds of conceptual photos that would evoke further discussion and story-telling. With the love and passion in creative works and old architectural buildings, she managed to graduate from Paragon International University with a B.Sc. in Architecture.

SRUN SREYNA

Srun Sreyna was born in Takeo, Cambodia. She is a master's degree in Architecture Design student at Tianjin University (TJU), China. As a background, she graduated Architectural Engineering from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) and English for Business from Phnom Penh International University (PPIU). She loves participating in plenty of social programs, events, competitions, and community services to upgrade her soft skills that never be taught in class as she joined The Innovative FD Workshop, Thailand, and Joined The 18th Asian Congress of Architects TOKYO, in Tokyo, Japan. Moreover, she believes she has made a positive contribution to the local community or even to her country. “Learn from the mistake, nothing impossible”
